
PROJECT: Long Lease of the largest Three Tourist Marinas of Athens (Zea,
Flisvos Alimos)
CLIENT: Hellenic Tourist Properties S.A, (H.T.P) a Greek state-owned company.

Triton was hired by Fuji Corporate Advisory Co Ltd, a member of the Japanese
Fuji Bank Group to act as Technical Consultant to H.T.P.
Scope of the Project was the balanced development of both the marine and onshore
zones of the three marinas with a view to promote tourism while enhancing the
marinas’ role in the urban life.
In this context, services were provided for the following:
 | to fine-tune the operation of the Marinas as main tourist entry ports. |
 | to define the necessary infrastructure investment. |
 | to restructure and upgrade the onshore zones of the Marinas and in
parallel to develop urban recreational centers for the neighboring
communities. |
 | to facilitate compliance of the proposed development with the prevailing
environmental restrictions and to develop and implement a sound policy for
environmental protection, |
 | to ensure conformity of the development plans with the existing legal
framework on marinas and the relevant EU Directives, |
 | to ensure necessary resources for the Marinas’ development will become
available through fair tendering conditions and requirements |
 | to provide framework for stable long-term marina management to be
established. |
 | to minimize H.T.P.'s exposure to residual risks and liabilities, and |
 | to optimise the Lease proceeds. |
