GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS
TRITON's Jack-up platform with attached borehole drill. The pontoon consists of three modular steel floats rigidly connected together. The platform can be jacked up above the water by means of four steel piles lowered onto the sea floor thus enabling the crew to operate the drill under unfavourable weather and sea conditions in water depths in excess of 12 metres.
