Project Tasks included :
- General conception design of the support mechanism for submarine types 209
and 214
- Structureal design,
- Materials list and general drawings with design details of the joints and
couplings
- Compilation of the different designs in accordance with the client's needs,
with Lloyd's Register and the contractor for the implementation of the hydraulic
systems in order to get approval of the final design.
- Comprehensive submission to Lloyd's Register of the entire design file
complete with drawings, calculations etc for
design appraisal.
- "As built" drawings and calculations,
- Project Management during construction and final assembly of the mechanism.
