Client:HELLENIC REPUBLIC ASSET DEVELOPMENT FUND (HRADF)
Location:Greece
Date:2013 - on going
The present Master Plan includes mainly the following works:

Tourist shelter of Hydra:A part of the port is site planned as a tourist shelter and specifically the main breakwater and its adjacent sea area both along its seaward and in its lee side. Along the seaward side and on the inner side of the breakwater, up to 34 boats will be moored. The surface of the upland area of the shelter is estimated to be up to 550m2 while the estimated sea area is approx.8620 m2.

Tourist shelter of New Epidaurus : An expanded tourist shelter is site planned with a total upland area of approx. 4.170m2 and a sea area of approx. 18.820m2. A new service building of approx 150m2 will be constructed and mooring appurtenance (bollards, cleats, or mooring rings) will be installed along the seaward side of the existing lee breakwater. Moreover, the existing bridge will be replaced with a new arch shaped bridge. The main breakwater will be strengthened and expanded by approx 30m, in order to increase the capacity of the shelter by installing inside the basin 190m of floating pontoons. Along the pontoons mooring – anchoring facilities will be installed.

Tourist shelter of Poros: An expanded tourist shelter will be site planned within the port of Poros reaching up to a capacity of approx. 180 berths. The new shelter will be expanded along the existing quays occupying a total length of approx. 700 m into two different parts of the port, with a total upland area of approx. 6.000m2 and a sea area of approx. 38.000m2. The use of a 120m floating pier has also been incorporated in the expansion of the shelter. A new service building of approx 150 m2 will be constructed and mooring appurtenance (bollards or mooring rings) and pillars will be installed along the land quays (700m). Moreover along all the berths mooring – anchoring facilities will be installed.
