The Preliminary and Detailed Design for the rebuilding of the Dock V (former VI) of Heraklion Harbor, was assigned to the J/V DENCO Consulting Enginers S.A.-ENVECO S.A.- OTME Hydraulic studies Ltd-Papageorgiou G-ROGAN & Associates A.E.-TEAM M-H Consulting Engineers Ltd – TRITON Consulting Enginers.
The Preliminary Design of the project was based upon a geotechnical investigation program (16 boreholes with sampling, insitu and laboratory testing etc.) carried out by the geotechnical team of the J/V. (see also geotechnical engineering section)

TRITON’s services include:
• Participation on the Masterplan of the Terminal Container
• Participation in the preliminary and final design of 400m. caisson quaywall
• Preliminary and final Design of a ramp for Ro-Ro berthing
• Dredging of the Dock V as well as of the harbor entrance, to an operational depth of -13.50m.
• Design of the surface layers and roads behind the dock’s land area, demolition of the existing buildings and precipitation drainage study.
• Floor Design of the containers’ and hazardous charges stock areas
